Breaking News: Carl Edwards wins the Pole at Daytona. His teammate Greg Biffle will start 2nd.

Kyle Busch wins the Bud Shootout. It was his first win in six Bud Shootout tries at Daytona. Kyle wins in dramatic fashion with a pass of Tony Stewart as they came to the finish line. The margin of victory was .013 which is the closest in Shootout history.

BK Racing is now official. This is the ownership group who bought the assets from Red Bull Racing. Landon Cassill will drive the No. 83 and David Reutimann will drive the No. 93. Travis Kvapil will drive the No. 93 at Phoenix.

NASCAR on FOX host Chris Myers lost his 19 year-old son, Christopher Myers, on Thursday from injuries due to a car accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with Chris and his entire family.
