Four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jimmie Johnson signs
autographs for fans during qualifying for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series
Shelby American at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Hot Topic According to SOZ
ASK THE QUESTION!

The uproar you're hearing from the stands
are fans getting sick of seeing Jimmie
Johnson winning races. Bottom line, Double
J and Chad Knaus have figured out a way to
beat the best of the best in the sport and
you can't blame them for the success. That
said, I'd like to see someone in the "elite"
media ask drivers - "How does it feel to get
your rear kicked each week by Johnson?"
Also, what driver is willing to mix it up and
rough up Johnson? Block him, make it tough
to pass in the middle of the race because
it's just too easy for Johnson right now!

Breaking
Kurt Busch wins the Sprint Cup race at
Atlanta.

Carl Edwards is under NASCAR review after
a "pay back" incident at Atlanta when he
turned Brad Keselowski in the closing laps.

Kevin Harvick wins Truck race at Atlanta.

Sprint Cup
Kurt Busch's win will be overshadowed
by Carl Edwards and his payback hit on
Brad Keselowski. Now everyone waits
for NASCAR to either dish out a penalty
or slap Carl on the wrist. By the way,
Kevin Harvick still leads in points.

Nationwide
It's an off week - but not for RCR's John
Wes Townley. He was busted and
ticketed this week for "underage
possession of alcohol." No suspension
was handed down but he did apologize.
Does this sound like a familiar tune in
NASCAR?

Camping World Trucks
It was a battle of powerhouses in Atlanta
- Harvick vs. Busch and this time Harvick
came out the winner.

ARCA
Justin Marks wins at Palm Beach in his
ARCA comeback tour. This series
should put on one of the best shows this
season.

Did Speed Jump the Shark with Fast Track to Fame? (And Other
Mid-Week Musings)
By Dennis Michelsen
Just when you thought it was safe to assume that Speed TV was run by
sane individuals along comes the new variety show “Fast Track to
Fame.” Monday night used to be a treat with “This Week in NASCAR.”
The departure of that show left us with Jimmy Spencer’s new show
“What’s the Deal” along with “Race Hub” and that should have been just
fine. But no Speed TV had to find something new and exciting...

Mr. Excitement takes on Junior Nation:

'What's The Deal' is the name of the a new SPEED TV show and it's hosted by former
NASCAR driver Jimmy "Mr. Excitement" Spencer. Well, Spencer used his newly found
platform to voice his opinion on the Dale Earnhardt Jr. situation. What situation you ask?

Like last season Junior and his No. 88 team find themselves running behind their three
teammates (Johnson, Gordon and Martin). The 2010 season is starting to look like the 2009
season for this team. And who is at fault?

“I don’t believe it is the 88 team. I believe it is Junior himself,” said Spencer on his show.

Do you BUY or SELL Dale Junior being the sole reason for
the problems on the No. 88 team?
